Day 01 Arrive Delhi By International Flight

Our representative will receive you at the airport and transfer to the hotel, ensuring smooth check in. Delhi, the capital city of India, is replete with a large number of ancient, medieval and modern era monuments to behold. Located on the banks of River Yamuna, is political and commercial centre of India.

Day 02 Delhi Sightseeing Tour

The sightseeing tour of Delhi- New & Old- will commence post breakfast. Accompanied by Delhi tour guide, visit famous monuments and markets of Delhi. Jama Masjid, the biggest mosque of India, Red Fort (remains closed on Monday)and Chandani Chowk, a 400 hundred years old happening market, are prime tourist attractions of Old Delhi. Chandani Chowk, characterized by narrow and lively alleys, will be shown to you by rickshaw ride. Thereafter, you will be taken to Akshardham Temple (remains closed on Monday), a modern era jewel. In the afternoon, you will be driven to to show Qutub Minar. En route, you will have a glimpse of and opportunity to photograph India Gate (a war memorial), Parliament House & President House. Later visit Qutub Minar complex. One of the salient features of this complex is a rust-free Iron Pillar, erected 2000 years back and lying in the open since then. It’s an example of the zenith of alchemy that Hindus had achieved long back in the history of human civilization. During the course of visiting these monuments, visit nearby buzzing market place to explore and have deeper peep into India’s social texture. In the evening.

Day 03 Delhi – Mandawa, (260 Km/5 Hrs)

Having breakfast in Delhi hotel, depart for Mandawa, a prominent tourist destination in Shekhawati region in Jhunjhnu district of Rajasthan. The region is enthralls visitors for its rural landscape and lifestyle and richly frescoed mansions or havelis. Due to large number of havelis, decorated with colourful frescoes and murals, Mandawa is known to be as ‘open air art gallery’. On arrival check in at the hotel and later in the afternoon take a short trip to beautiful village of Shekhawati region. Most of these havelis were built in 18th-19th centuries by rich businessmen, known as Marwaris. Some of the popular havelis are Goenka Chattri, Jhunjhunwala Haveli, Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli, Goenka Double Haveli, etc.

Day 04 Mandawa – Bikaner (200 Km/4 Hrs) – Bikaner Sightseeing

Post breakfast in Mandawa hotel, depart for Bikaner, earlier a prominent trade centre and presently a happening desert city. Known for its desert and dessert, Bikaner offers opportunity to see Rajputa architecture, desert lifestyle, a unique culture and one-of-its-kind camel breeding farm. On arrival at Bikaner, you will be transferred to a heritage hotel, equipped with all modern amenities. Having relaxed for a while, proceed to explore the city founded in 1488 by Rao Bikaji son of Rao Jodhaji the founder of Jodhpur. Major tourist attractions of Bikaner are Junagarh Fort, Lallgarh Palace, Bhandeshwar Jain Temple & Camel Breeding Farm. Proceed for guided sightseeing of Bikaner. The prime tourist attractions of Bikaner comprise Junagarh Fort, Lallgarh Palace, Bhandeshwar Jain Temple & Camel Breeding Farm. Junagarh Fort is a fine example of Rajput forts & palace architecture with a long wall having 37 stronghold and 2 entry access points. Lallgarh Palace, built of red sandstone in fond memory of Maharaja Ganga Singh, is a fine piece of architecture. Also visit Bhandeshwar Jain Temple. Later, you will be taken to Camel Breeding Farm. Day 05 Bikaner - Deshnoke(Rat Temple) - Jaisalmer (333 Km/6 Hrs)

The drive from Bikaner to Jaisalmer takes around six hours. After breakfast, depart for Jaisalmer. On the way to Jaisalmer, you will be taken to Karni Mata Temple, popularly known as Rat Temple. You will see numerous rats running hither and thither but neither harming anybody or getting harmed. Strange aspect is that no disease is caused by these rats. Having seen the Rat Temple, drive to Jaisalmer, the Golden City of Rajasthan, known for its desert land escape, sand dunes, camel safaris, panoramic sunset view, splendid havelis and colouful culture. It is an ancient city and because of its strategic location on camel trade route it was used as a trading centre.

On arrival at Jaisalmer, you will be transferred to the pre-booked hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay therein.

Day 06 Sightseeing Of Jaisalmer City

After breakfast, move for guided city tour. Jaisalmer, known as Golden City of Rajasthan, is mostly inhabited within the walls of Jaisalmer Fort, known as Golden Fort or Sonargarh due to its golden colour. The Jaisalmer Fort, named after Rawal Jaisal, was built in 1156 AD, is situated on 80 m high hill. The fort is home to various historical buildings. Also visit famous havelis of Jaisalmer, namely Patwon ki Haveli. Post-lunch, late afternoon, have a camel ride into Thar desert to reach a desert camp on sand dunes to enjoy cultural evening.

Day 07 Jaisalmer-Mandore -Jodhpur (297 Km / 5 Hrs)

After breakfast in desert camp, depart for Jodhpur, the Blue City of Rajasthan, aptly called as doorway to Thar desert. While weaving your way through the desert landscape you will have fascinating view of rural & desert Rajasthan with women clad in long colourful skirts and men with colourful turbans. On arrival at Jodhpur, check in at the pre-booked hotel. Having relaxed for a while, proceed to visit Mandore Gardens, the previous capital of Marwar kingdom.

Later, return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 08 Odhpur Sightseeing

After breakfast in the hotel, guided sightseeing tour of Jodhpur, the Blue City of Rajasthan, will be carried out, thoroughly and leisurely. The prime attractions of Jodhpur are Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jaswant Thada, Sadar Bazaar and Clock Tower. Mehrangarh is probably the best kept and most beautiful fort of Rajasthan. It’s a sturdy battle fort, housing several buildings like palaces, temples, courtyards etc of immense interest for art and architecture aficionados. Umaid Bhawan Palace is presently part museum-luxury hotel- residence of royal family of Jodhpur. Jaswant Thada is said to be an inspiration for Taj Mahal. Buzzing Sadar Bazaar attracts all and sundry. Later in the evening.

Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 09 Jodhpur- Ranakpur – Udaipur (265 Kms / 5 Hrs)

Having enjoyed delicious breakfast in Jodhpur hotel, depart for Udaipur. On the way to Udaipur, visit Ranakpur Jain Temple. Ranakpur Temples, built by a Porwal Jain merchant in 1439 during the reign of Maharana Kumbha, is one of the five holy places of Jain community. The main temple is Chaumukha (four faced) temple is dedicated to Adinath, the first Jain Tirthankar (saint). Ranakpur temple is known across the world for their sublime art and architecture. In addition to it, also visit sun temple and the other temples in the campus. Later, drive to Udaipur. On the way to Udaipur, take a halt at the fields to see the local way of agricultural and irrigation. You reach Udaipur late afternoon.

You will be directly transferred to the pre-booked hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay therein.

Day 10 Udaipur Sightseeing

Have delicious breakfast and embark on Udaipur city tour. Visit the City Palace Complex, The Jag Mandir, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Bagore Ki Haveli and other picturesque spots of tourist interests. The first monument to be visited in Udaipur is City Palace. City Palace of Udaipur is the largest palatial complex of Rajasthan and is representative architectural piece of Rajput style of architecture. After relaxing for some time, the Udaipur tour guide will take you for leisurely and relaxed sightseeing (Lake Palace/ Jag Niwas Palace) while having boat ride in Lake Pichola. After having enjoyed leisurely sightseeing of Udaipur, move for visiting another piece of Mewar architecture, a treasure trove of fine paintings, Bagore Ki Haveli.

Day 11 Udaipur – Bundi (250 Kms / 06 Hrs)

Having breakfast, depart for historical town of Bundi, erstwhile kingdom of Hada Chauhan Rajputs. Bundi was the capital of the last princely state of Rajasthan. Bundi offers a very unique proposition to the tourists- it has all the characteristics of Rajasthan tourism like fort, palace, baoris, temples etc along with thin crowd. Most of the monuments are preserved to ancient glory. The monuments and their structural design imitate the splendor of the local Rajput's chiefs. The ramparts of the palaces at Bundi are festooned with life-size frescoes showing the glory of its rulers. Explore Bundi and appreciate its vibrant culture. On arrival, check in at heritage hotel of Bundi. Having relaxed for some time, proceed to explore Bundi. Do visit Taragarh Fort, The Palace and Chitrashala.

Later in the evening, return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 12 Bundi – Jaipur (210 Kms / 05 Hrs)

Have leisurely breakfast in Bundi hotel and explore morning activities of rustic Rajasthan. Early noon, depart for Jaipur, meaning ‘city of victory’. The capital city of Rajasthan, Jaipur, is home to not only finest of monuments but also is famous for lively and colourful market of jewellery, textiles, goods made of marble, wood, stone, lac, clay, metal and leather.

Day 13 Jaipur Sightseeing

Jaipur is the last city to be explored in the Best of Rajasthan Tour. Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan and the most visited city of Rajasthan. Day 14 Jaipur – Agra (230 Kms / 5 Hrs)

Having breakfast in Jaipur hotel, drive to Agra. On the way to Agra, you will be visiting deserted town of Fatehpur Sikri, also known as Ghost City. Built by Akbar as a new capital of Mughal Empire, Fatehpur Sikri had to be deserted due to paucity of potable water. The complex has finely preserved buildings including palaces, gateways, mosque and courtyard. From here, move for Agra.

Day 15 Agra Sightseeing – Delhi – Departure (210 Kms / 04 Hrs)

Agra is home to world renowned monument Taj Mahal – one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The sightseeing of Agra will comprise Taj Mahal & Agra Fort. You will be visiting Taj Mahal at the time of sunrise when the Taj Mahal looks most beautiful. Built of Makrana white marble, Taj Mahal is the most visited monument of India. Built by Shah Jahan in fond memory of your wife Mumtaj Mahal, Taj Mahal is considered to be epitome of love. First you will be shown Taj Mahal. After visiting Taj Mahal, return to hotel. Relax, refresh, have breakfast, check out and proceed for guided visit of Agra Fort. The next attraction to be visited is Agra Fort. Built of red sandstone, the fort is situated on the banks of River Yamuna. It houses buildings like palaces, courtyards, mosques etc of three generations of Mughal rulers- Akbar, Jahangir and Shah Jahan. Having visited these two UNESCO World Heritage sites of Agra, proceed for Delhi. On arrival at New Delhi.
